Academy holiday schools provide endless opportunities for fun, friendship, learning and performing. Each and every day is jam packed with dance, drama, singing and arts and crafts activities that actively promote the artistic, creative, expressive and social development of every child. The achievement of a complete performance at the culmination of each holiday school is a deeply rewarding experience that involves a great sense of pride and accomplishment in all involved.

Holiday schools are priced at £18 per day for Academy students and £20 per day for non Academy students, with morning and afternoon refreshments provided.

A terrific celebration of English country life. Visit the farm for a weekend of traditonal English fayre and fun. Take part in the egg and spoon race or show your strength in the Farm's tug of war. Meet our resident Shire horses and don’t miss their fabulous ridden displays. There'll be sheep and chicken racings, sheep dog demonstrations on Sunday and morris dancing. Traditional stalls include local honey, old fashioned sweets and Tatton’s own produce. Summer Steamings at Bolton Steam Museum

Volunteers from The Northern Mill Engine Society have rescued and restored 27 old stationary steam engines - some of the engines which once powered the cotton mills of Lancashire.  Most will be running in steam on these 2 days from 10.00am till 4.00pm.  Our address is Bolton Steam Museum, Mornington Road, off Chorley Old Road, Bolton, BL1 4EU. You'll find us at the back of Morrison's Supermarket site on Chorley Old Road, just past the petrol station.  Admission is free, with free unlimited parking on the Supermarket car park.
