Bookstart BookCrawl
The Bookstart Book Crawl is for children aged 0-4 years. Children can start as soon as they become members of the library. They are given a collector's card on which they can collect a sticker each time they visit the library to borrow books. When they have collected 5 stickers they will be awarded a beautifully illustrated certificate, there are 5 different certificates to collect. Ask at your local library for details or see www.bookstart.co.uk.

Trafford

Most Trafford libraries hold junior reading groups. There are also events in the school holidays including a summer reading schemes to encourage children to read over holidays.
There is a Trafford Children's Library website with lots of ideas for authors to read and details of special activities and services for children.
