Crosby Beach |
Crosby, Merseyside
Another Place -
Antony Gormley Statues - 100 identical iron cast iron figures scattered
across a mile long stretch at Crosby Beach. Some high on sand, Some semi
submerged by sea. Makes a surreal walk beach walk wondering which are
statues and which are other walkers in the distance. By "Angel of the North"'s sculptor Antony
Gormley.Kids love
it. Be careful of tides, observe signs and don't go to sculptures furthest
out.
