The ACF helps 12-18 year olds to learn new skills and improve themselves in many different ways. Gives young people a taste of Army life, as well as allowing them to stretch themselves away from school and to find out how much they can achieve and have a lot of fun in the process. Half St John's Ambulance volunteers are children! Badgers (6-10) meet weekly to learn skills through fun activities and outdoor pursuits. Cadets learn first aid skills and attend community events (10-16). Also run Young Carers' Project supporting young people who care for a relative etc. |
