How soon will my
advertisement go on-line?
In most cases, advertisements will appear on the live web site within ten
working days of receipt of payment and materials. In many cases this will be
even quicker. If timing is very important (e.g. imminent event or product
launch) please contact Kidsguide in advance to ensure your timescale can be
met.
How can I pay?

When do I have to pay?
As soon as you place your order and before your advertisement goes on-line.
Can I pay monthly?
Advertisers who wish to spread the cost may choose to pay monthly. Monthly
payments must be made by standing order.
How long will my advertisement be
on Kidsguide?
Featured listings, sponsorship logos and banners will remain online until
you cancel or cease payment. Featured events are on-line until the day after
they take place. What's new bulletins can be ordered for either one or two
months. Job advertisements can be ordered for one month+ or for 12 months.
Is there a minimum
time for an advertisement?
All featured listings and logoboxes
on inner pages are subject to a
six month minimum period.
After six months you may cancel at any time with
one month's notice. All others
are subject to a
one month minimum
period.
How do I cancel?
If you no longer wish to have an advertisement on Kidsguide, simply email
advertise@kidsguide.co.uk at
least one month before you wish the advertisement to end. We will send you
confirmation that your advertisement has been cancelled. Please remember to
cancel any standing order you may have arranged with your bank.
How and when will I be
invoiced?
An invoice will be sent to you by email as soon as your order is received.
Where in the site will
my advertisement appear?
Featured listings and featured events will be placed on the most
appropriate page determined by Kidsguide. If you pay for a logobox or banner, you can indicate your preferred page.
Kidsguide will try
but cannot guarantee to offer your preferred position.
Ad positions are
allocated on a first come first served basis, Positions
are issued on a first come first served basis and your slot will
automatically be reserved for you unless you cancel or cease payment
What format and size
do you need my logo?
Logos should be supplied as a .jpeg or .gif file. They should be no larger
than 90 pixels wide by 70 pixels deep. Images should emailed to
advertise@kidsguide.co.uk
What format and size do you need my banner?
Banners should be
supplied as a .jpeg or .gif file. They should be 546 pixels wide by 70
pixels deep (or smaller). Images should emailed to
advertise@kidsguide.co.uk
Can I have a free
basic listing?
If you provide a product or service for children aged 0 - 14 and you are
based in Cheshire, Flintshire, Halton, Trafford, Warrington, Wrexham or Wirral you will probably qualify
for a free basic listing.
