today are a great resource for families - not just offering
books but also CDs, DVDs, computer games, free internet access
and special sessions for children.
They
can also lend materials for children with hearing, visual,
physical or learning problems and dyslexia.

that libraries in many areas now allow you to search their
catalogue, reserve and renew books online?

Storytime and Rhymetime
Most libraries hold regular storytime or rhymetime sessions for
the under 5s.
Bookstart BookCrawl
Children (0-4 years) collect stickers and earn certificates
for visiting the library to borrow books.
Bookstart packs
Bookstart is a national scheme to give good quality
bookpacks to all babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

who complete the challenge.
