Are you making the most of your library?
Libraries today are a great resource for families - not just offering books but also CDs, DVDs, computer games, free internet access and special sessions for children.  They can also lend materials for children with hearing, visual, physical or learning problems and dyslexia. Did you know that libraries in many areas now allow you to search their catalogue, reserve and renew books online?

Libraries for little kids and even babies
Storytime and Rhymetime
Most libraries hold regular storytime or rhymetime sessions for the under 5s.

Bookstart BookCrawl
Children (0-4 years) collect stickers and earn certificates for visiting the library to borrow books.

Bookstart is a national scheme to give good quality bookpacks to all babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
